Apoksiomen Museum Mali Losinj

The interesting story about the Museum begins with finding a statue in 1996. Not so long ago, Belgian tourist Rene Wouters, found a statue in the sea, near the isle of Vela Orjule, on a sandy bottom between the two rocks at a depth of about 45 meters. After a certain time, namely, on April 27, 1999, Special Police Divers and experts from the Ministry of Culture and Archaeological Museum in Zadar made a statue. We can write it, start the story and have the greatest credit for opening the Apoksiomen Museum in Lošinj. On April 30, 2016, the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar Kitarović opened the Museum of Apoxicom in the Kvarner Palace in Mali Losinj. The museum was designed and designed by Rijeka architects Idis Turato and Saša Randić for the museum's needs. The project is designed to preserve the exterior look of the building, while in the interior there is a dark room where the Apoxyomenon, the underwater (find) to the museum and the story of sculpture are carefully documented. In the museum we also have a completely white room where the statue can be seen from close proximity.The Apoksiomena Museum is located in the Kvarner palace on the shores of Mali Lošinj.
